Surfers at first light, warm rock pools on a summer afternoon. The BackBeach lifestyle has been a part of the Mornington Peninsula for decades, and will live on for many more to come.

A lot of passion was poured into this project and we felt quite the connection with (and when working on) this brand. One thing BackBeach Pizza & Tommy Creative have in common is that they were both born on the Mornington Peninsula. A place we too hold very close to our heart!

A relaxed ocean breeze and kissed with the rays of the Sorrento sun, a brand that aims to capture the essence of the Mornington Peninsula lifestyle was born. 

We had the pleasure of being engaged by design studio - Milk & Honey and renowned pizza chefs and hospitality guru’s Janelle Toomey & Callum Kaka to work collaboratively on the brand identity and development of all branded assets for one of Sorrento and the Mornington Peninsula's favourite pizza restaurants and weekend hangouts; BackBeach Pizza. 

This exciting scope captured everything from venue signage to design of the staff uniforms, a high level social media strategy and design of the venue's website showcasing their seasonal menus and all other information 

We carried out an array of different branded assets and deliverables for the launch of BackBeach Pizza. Starting with the development of their logo package and brand Identity and then rolling it out across all other branded facets of the business. Business cards, food & drink menus, wine glasses, uniforms, coffee cups and signage just to name a few! We worked with Milk & Honey taking on the role of brand custodian, being the ‘go-to’ for anything branded this venue may need.

BackBeach Wood Fired Pizza has grown to be a year-round hot spot for a great weeknight dinner date, sunday sip or post back beach visit feed. The perfect venue to kick back, relax and share great food with friends and family. The brand intends to echo this comfortability & approachability with it’s hand drawn approach.
