  • In late 2023, Tommy Creative partnered with Brasilero Coffee, a company renowned for its century-old tradition of wood fire roasting. This collaboration aimed at rejuvenating the brand and enhancing its market presence through a comprehensive rebranding and strategic overhaul.

    Brasilero Coffee's legacy began in 1903 with Vincenzo Alviggi in Italy. The expertise in wood fire roasting was passed down through generations, with Lorenzo and eventually Antonio Alviggi, who brought this unique method to Australia in the 1980s. This rich heritage underpins the brand's identity and value proposition.

    Connie, the Director of Brasilero Coffee, and Tommy, the Founder and Creative Director of Tommy Creative, spearheaded the rebranding initiative. Their combined vision and leadership were crucial in guiding the project's strategic direction and execution.

    The primary objective was to create a new brand identity that reflected Brasilero Coffee's rich history and unique roasting technique. This included developing a cohesive visual direction for both physical and digital channels. Additionally, the entire product range was overhauled and redesigned to align with the new brand identity, ensuring that the packaging was both visually appealing and functional.

    All company vehicles were also redesigned to enhance brand visibility and consistency. To streamline operations, Tommy Creative designed and managed the implementation of a new e-commerce platform. This platform automated the ordering, picking, and packing processes, significantly improving efficiency and manageability.

    Another key focus was developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy. This involved creating engaging content and managing social media channels to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. To support Brasilero Coffee's ambition to be in every Australian supermarket by the end of 2024, pitch decks and sales tools were developed. These resources were designed to help the sales team effectively communicate the brand's value and secure partnerships.

    Tommy Creative continues to provide ongoing management of online campaigns, social media, and content creation. Regular reviews of the Brasilero brand and customer experiences are conducted to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent growth.

    The project began with a thorough discovery and research phase to understand the brand's history, market position, and target audience. Key areas for improvement and strategic opportunities were identified during this phase. Following this, a new brand identity was developed, including designing logos, color schemes, and visual elements that reflect the brand's heritage and future aspirations. Brand guidelines were created to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

    Next, the product packaging and company vehicles were redesigned to align with the new brand identity, ensuring practicality, sustainability, and customer resonance. The e-commerce platform was then developed to be user-friendly and automated, streamlining the ordering process and reducing manual input.

    The new brand identity was strategically rolled out across all physical and digital channels. This included implementing social media and online marketing strategies to drive engagement and sales. To support sales and distribution, pitch decks and sales tools were created, facilitating introductions and negotiations with major supermarket chains.
